Many of our customers have specific transport needs, where standard solutions are often inadequate or efficient. The combination of a car transporter and a trailer usually offers a solution. At Commercial vehicle in the center of Roosendaal we were allowed to deliver a 2-loader built on a Mercedes-Benz Actros. In combination with the TA11000 trailer, this not only provides more flexibility, but also significantly more capacity. Rob Verleijsen: 'For this purpose we have had 2x an aluminum ramp with an aluminum trailer, both suitable for the transport of 1 car. This is our first combination of steel and we like it very much.'

Tijhof builds ramps for 2 cars with a steel structure for heavy trucks. You can also choose from many variable elements and additional options for these models to tailor your ramp exactly to your objectives. Ease of operation has also been taken into account, for example with a radio remote control for the winch. We were allowed to build the Actros from Bedrijfswagen Centrum Roosendaal with, among others, the following specifications:

• Spoiler/fly-over with fully connected Hella rear lights.
• Perforated plate feed where wheel stands and tension straps can be hooked.
• Stacking deck recessed into the floor between the cabin and the rear axle.
• Removable floor modules. This allows the wheels of the loaded car/commercial vehicle to sink through the deck and gain height.
• Tilting rear overhang with a hydraulically extending floor, so that loading can be done directly from the road surface.
• Completely closed side shield.
• 3 Steel tool boxes.
• Wheel stands and tension straps.
• LED work lights.

In the version of the TA11000 trailer, the rear can be hydraulically extended by 1.25 metres. The air suspension makes it possible to lower the trailer to create an optimal approach angle. There are numerous technical options and extras, allowing you to put together your trailer exactly to your own wishes. Some other specifications:

• Extendable drawbar.
• Stacking deck.
• High/low adjustment that makes it possible to place the air suspension at different heights, so that the loading floor can be set to a minimum height when loading.
• Trailer Brake Release that makes it possible to release the parking brake of the trailer without releasing the brake from the towing vehicle and without disconnecting the air hoses between towing vehicle and trailer.
• Hydraulic winch, radio controlled.
• Completely closed side shield.
• 3 Steel tool boxes.
• Wheel stands and tension straps.
