At Tijhof we like to think along with our customers to jointly arrive at a product that optimally suits the business needs. For these types of heavy trucks, Tijhof builds ramps with a steel structure with a choice of many variable elements and extra options. Ease of operation is also taken into account, for example through a radio remote control for the winch.

We have built this Mercedes Actros with the following specifications:

• Instead of the existing lifting system, portals with spindles have been installed so that the floor at the front can remain in any desired position. This makes it possible, for example, to load buses, combos or MPVs on the upper floor.
• The rear part of the top floor can be moved up and down by means of 2 diagonally placed hydraulic cylinders with nickel-chrome rods.
• We have equipped the superstructure with a tilting rear overhang containing a hydraulically extending floor, so that loading can be carried out directly from the road surface. The rear deck and extension are galvanized as standard and the sides are sprayed in the color of the superstructure. The rear overhang is equipped with a 3.500kg towbar.
• A hydraulic winch, Pundmann, has been mounted with a maximum load of 3.6 tons that can be operated remotely by means of a radio remote control.
• We have made the side shielding completely closed with the steel tool boxes integrated.

Our trailers for up to 3 cars have a gross loading volume of 12 to 16 tons. They are equipped with, among other things, two recessed hydraulic stacking decks, which are infinitely adjustable. The lanes under the second stacking deck are height adjustable, which makes it possible to load a higher car, for example an SUV, under the second deck. Here too, the loading floor can be set to a minimum height with the high/low control when loading. We have provided the delivered TA12000 trailer with the following specifications:

• A hydraulically extendable drawbar that is hydraulically locked. This makes the drawbar infinitely adjustable. A mechanical safety device has also been installed to prevent total extension.
• We have sunk 2 hydraulic stacking decks in the loading floor that are infinitely adjustable. These make it possible to load 3 cars.
• The lanes under the 2nd stacking deck are height adjustable. This makes it possible to load a higher car (SUV) under the 2nd deck.
• The rear of the trailer can be hydraulically extended by approximately 1.25 metres. The sliding piece is equipped with 2 working lights/reversing lights that are connected to reverse.
