We proudly present our recent project in collaboration with Van Doorn Automotive from Berlikum: a custom-made Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with Tijhof Aluliner construction. Van Doorn Automotive is a wholesaler of young, exclusive cars that often come directly from the first owner. Simply good, clear and reliable. To transport cars you obviously need a nice car with a solid structure. It is therefore not surprising that Van Doorn Automotive has opted for the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with Tijhof Aluliner construction. This body has been designed for functionality, safety and ease of use, including a particularly useful option, full air suspension on the rear axle.

Features of the Construction:

• Sturdy subframe: A steel subframe is mounted on the chassis, consisting of U-profiles that form a strong triangular connection for the tow bar.
• Aluminum rear window: Equipped with recesses for the aluminum ramps, which can be stored in a slide under the floor for easy loading and unloading.
• Ball coupling 50mm: With maximum permitted pulling force for optimal performance.
• Flyover Alu: Mounted behind the cabin, equipped with Hella rear lights for extra safety during loading and unloading.
• Electric built-in winch: With 3.600 kg pulling force, semi-mounted in the floor for ease of use.
• Radio remote control: Allows wireless control of the winch for greater flexibility.
• Aluminum box: Splash-proof with lockable stainless steel built-in lock for safe storage of tools.
• Closed side shield: With LED built-in side lighting for improved visibility.
• Full air suspension on the rear axle (Tijhof Version MB Sprinter 5t): This allows the ramp to be lowered at the rear, which has the great advantage that the ramp maintains a constant ride height, both unladen and loaded. This prevents the problem of a height difference of approximately 18 cm between a leaf and an air-suspended car. Without air suspension, many cars would hit the ramps with their bumpers.

Extra options:

• Side beam with hole strip: For 5 cm more useful width and easy attachment of tension straps.
• Entry into side protection: With anti-slip for safe access.
• Perforated plate floor: Equipped with checker plate, ideal for clamping/hooking wheel stands and tension straps.
• Spray build-up: In metallic/black color of your choice.
• Rubber bumpers: Mounted against the bulkhead for extra protection.
• LED width lamps: Mounted on the rear window for improved visibility.
