Aan Autohandel Nijlant in Gronau, we were allowed to deliver this sturdy DAF XD 2, 3 loader + TA14000 trailer. The trailer falls into the heavier class car transport trailers.

We delivered the chassis with the following options, among others:

Hole plate floor

Instead of the diamond plate, the floor consists of 2 lanes of special floor plate into which wheel chocks and tension straps can be hooked. The floor between the lanes is closed with diamond plate. There is also storage space for wheel stands on the side.

Spindles

Instead of the existing lifting system, portals with spindles have been installed so that the floor can remain in any desired position.

Lifting tables

A hydraulic lifting table has been mounted in the subfloor, allowing the first car to lower approximately 15 cm at the rear.

Lifting system

The rear part of the top floor can be moved up and down using 2 diagonally placed hydraulic cylinders with nickel-chrome rods. The cylinders are protected against hose breakage.

Controllers

The car transporter is equipped with a hydraulic gear pump with a 50 liter tank. Operation is possible by means of a manually operated valve block for all movable parts, which is mounted on the right side in a box.

Hydraulic winch

A hydraulic winch has been mounted with a maximum load of 3.6 tons. The winch is mounted in a galvanized frame that is equipped with a cable guide.

The trailer has the following options, among others:

Special floor

Extendable drawbar

The drawbar is hydraulically extendable and locked hydraulically. This makes the drawbar infinitely adjustable. A mechanical safety device has also been installed to prevent total extension.

TBR

The Trailer Brake Release makes it possible to release the parking brake of the trailer without releasing the brake of the towing vehicle. And without disconnecting the air hoses between the towing vehicle and trailer.

Stacking decks

2 hydraulic stacking decks recessed into the loading floor, infinitely adjustable. These make it possible to load 3 cars. The stacking decks are galvanized as standard.

Deck extenders

A set of deck extenders is included. The extensions can be stored under the first stacking deck.

Floor height adjustable

The lanes under the possible second stacking deck are height adjustable. This makes it possible to load a higher car (SUV) under the second deck.

Controllers

The hydraulic system is operated via the PTO of the front vehicle. Connection between the trailer and the motor vehicle is possible using a multi-fastener coupling.

High/low control

A 3-position controller is mounted in combination with a height shut-off valve. This makes it possible to place the air suspension at different heights, so that the loading floor can be adjusted to a minimum height when loading.

Sliding piece

The rear of the trailer can be hydraulically extended by approximately 1.25 metres.
