Ordered before National & International Transport KD Beelen BV we were allowed to realize a car transport body on a DAF chassis for the transport of 2 cars. We have supplied a steel trailer for the transport of another 3 or 4 cars.

Car transport trailers come in many shapes and sizes. Thanks to our years of experience in bodywork construction and because we design and build car transporters in-house, we can also supply customized combinations that are built exactly according to the customer's wishes. We are happy to think along and test which combinations are possible and legally permitted.

A number of specifications of the car transport body:

• Loading length above approximately 4.50 meters and below 6.90 meters.
• Width above approx. 2.20 meters and below 2.55 meters.
• Perforated plate feed suitable for hooking wheel stands and tension straps.
• Spindles. Instead of the existing lifting system, portals with spindles have been installed so that the floor at the front can remain in any desired position. This makes it possible, for example, to load buses, combos or MPVs on the upper floor. The spindle system works best in combination with a PTO on the truck.
• Lifting system. The rear part of the top floor can be moved up and down using 2 diagonally placed hydraulic cylinders with nickel-chrome rods. The cylinders are protected against hose breakage.
• Tilting rear overhang with a double, hydraulically extending floor so that loading can be carried out directly from the road surface.
• Hydraulic Pundmann winch, radio controlled.
