Tijhof also builds ramps for 3 or 4 cars with a steel structure for heavy trucks. These ramps provide a large loading capacity, which can be expanded with a trailer. As with all our products, these ramps can also be chosen from a large number of variable options and additional options.

Through our dealer Thomas Cargo Solutions we were allowed to deliver a 3-4 charger to Towing service Degrande located in Bellegem (Belgium). The combination with the Tijhof TA12000 trailer leads to even more flexibility and loading capacity - ideal for this company with varying transport needs. We would like to share a number of specifications:

• A 1,5m hydraulically extendable top floor sprayed in the color of the superstructure and equipped with a winch roller and parapet. The top floor can be locked by means of sliding tubes. We have also installed a set of extra sliding tubes to support the top floor in the extended position.
• Instead of the existing lifting system, we have installed portals with spindles so that the floor at the front can remain in any desired position. This makes it possible, for example, to load buses, combos or MPVs on the upper floor.
• The rear part of the top floor can be moved up and down using 2 diagonally placed hydraulic cylinders with nickel-chrome rods. The cylinders are protected against hose breakage.
• We have installed a hydraulic lifting table in the subfloor, so that the 1st car at the rear is approx. 15 cm. can drop. This is fully galvanized.
• By installing the tilting rear overhang with a hydraulically extending floor, loading can be carried out directly from the road surface. The aft deck and extension are galvanized as standard and in the
  sprayed in the color of the superstructure.
• The hydraulic Pundmann winch can be operated radiographically via a handheld transmitter.
• We have made the side shield completely closed with 2 steel integrated tool boxes.

In combination with the car transport trailer, this ramp for 3-4 cars turns into a transport system with even more options. The trailer is custom built and equipped with the following specifications:

• The floors (bottom and top) consist of special floor plates with holes. The supplied wheel stands and tension straps can be attached to these holes.
• The drawbar can be hydraulically extended and locked hydraulically. This makes the drawbar infinitely adjustable. A mechanical safety device has also been installed to prevent total extension.
• Recessed in the loading floor, 2 hydraulic stacking decks are mounted, which are infinitely adjustable and make it possible to load a third car.
• A 3-position controller is mounted in combination with a height shut-off valve. This makes it possible to place the air suspension at different heights, so that the loading floor can be adjusted to a minimum height when loading.
• The side shielding is completely closed with removable plates and integrated tool boxes where necessary, equipped with LED built-in side lighting.
